TC 3-34.150 provides a training strategy for squads and platoons to attain engineer task proficiency by executing tasks to standard. This enables engineers to gain proficiency in providing maneuver support through execution of mobility,  countermobility,  and  survivability tasks efficiently in any operational environment.

The principal audience for TC 3-34.150 are the commanders and trainers of engineer units.  This publication applies to all combat engineer units. TC 3-34.150 includes all the planning and preparation required for a successful engineer qualification-training program for both the brigade combat team and the echelons above brigade combat engineer organizations.

TM 3-34.150 applies to the Active Army, Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States and United States Army Reserve unless otherwise stated.

Introduction

TC 3-34.150 is designed to focus on mission-essential task (MET) proficiency. Since the Engineer Regiment has transformed into a modular force, maneuver commanders are responsible for the training and readiness oversight of their embedded engineers.

It is the Engineer Regiment’s responsibility to provide maneuver commanders with the tools to qualify their engineer squads and platoons, to provide quality training oversight, and to validate engineer training. The engineer qualification table (EQT) plays an important role in this process.

This book is BIG size (a regular size piece of paper - 8 1/2 by 11 inches) -   It has coil binding, allowing for easy page flipping withing jamming.  The covers are laminated.
