Army Techniques Publication (ATP) 3-05.11, Special Operations Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Operations, provides the United States (U.S.) Army, commanders and staffs information on the functions, capabilities, and limitations of special operations forces (SOF) chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) operations. This publication provides a basis for understanding the requirements of SOF personnel operating in CBRN environments, as well as the requirements of SOF staff planners across the range of military operations. This publication also provides guidance for commanders who determine force structure, equipment, material, and operational requirements necessary to conduct SOF CBRN missions described herein.

The principal audience for ATP 3-05.11 is the CRD, CDD, and DRT commanders and CBRN personnel throughout SOF.  Trainers and educators throughout the Army may also use this publication.

ATP 3-05.11 applies to the Active Army, Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and United States Army Reserve unless otherwise stated.

This book is a "mini" (7 1/4 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide) size - A popular size to carry anywhere (briefcase, large pocket, purse) but the print is large enough for easy reading.  The binding is with coil, allowing easy flipping of pages without jamming.
