This publication is for skill level (SL) 2, 3, and 4 Soldiers who hold military occupational specialty (MOS) 31K and their trainers or leaders. It contains standardized training objectives in the form of task summaries that may be used to train and evaluate Soldiers on the critical tasks that support unit missions. Trainers and leaders should actively plan for MOS 31K Soldiers to have access to this publication.

This publication applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard (ARNG)/Army National Guard of the United States (ARNGUS), and the United States Army Reserve (USAR) unless otherwise stated. 

This manual identifies the individual MOS training requirements for Soldiers. It is designed to be used by commanders, trainers, and Soldiers to plan, conduct, and evaluate individual training in units. This manual is the primary reference for supporting self-development, evaluating MOS proficiency, and training Soldiers.

This book is a "mini" (7 1/4 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide) size - A popular size to carry anywhere (briefcase, large pocket, purse) but the print is large enough for easy reading.  The binding is using coils, allowing for easy, non jamming page flipping.

The color cover is laminated for weather protection with black and white inside printing.
