ATP 3-39.4 is aligned with the Military Police Corps Regiment’s FM 3-39 and provides a doctrinal framework for military police platoons. It provides techniques for the employment of military police platoons in support of Army operations.

ATP 3-39.4 encompasses techniques for military police platoons. The manual provides an overview of fundamental guidelines and is a quick reference guide to help platoon leaders, leaders, and Soldiers successfully execute key military police missions at the platoon echelon.

The principal audience for ATP 3-39.4 is military police commanders, staffs, and leaders who are responsible for planning, preparing, executing, and assessing military police operations at the platoon echelon.  Trainers and educators throughout the Army will also use this manual.

ATP 3-39.4 applies to the Active Army, Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States and United States Army Reserve unless otherwise stated.

This book is a "mini" (7 1/4 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide) size - A popular size to carry anywhere (briefcase, large pocket, purse) but the print is large enough for easy reading.  The binding is using coils, allowing for easy, non jamming page flipping.
