STP 7-11B24-SM-TG is for Soldiers holding military occupational specialty (MOS) 11B, Infantryman, skill levels 2 through 4, trainers, and first-line supervisors. It contains standardized training objectives in the form of task summaries, to train and evaluate Soldiers on critical tasks that support unit missions during wartime.

Commander, trainers, and first-line supervisors should ensure these Soldiers have access to this publication.

This manual applies to the Active Army, Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the United States Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated.

Soldier training publications (STPs) contain critical individual tasks and Soldier training information that standardizes individual training; provides information and guidance for conducting individual training; and aids the Soldier, noncommissioned officer, officer, and commander. Unit trainers use STPs to train and sustain leader and Soldier task proficiency.

Leaders should use the STP to plan, conduct, and evaluate individual training in units.

The STP is the primary military occupational specialty (MOS) reference to support the individual training and self-development of every Soldier in the unit.

This publication identifies the critical tasks for 11B skill levels 2 through 4. It is designed to support preparation of individual and unit training plans that satisfy integration, cross-training, training up, and sustainment training requirements
