This SOP standardizes routine procedures for combat operations, within the scout platoon.

 

This SOP reflects the current thought of the US Army Armor School and conforms to published Department of the Army doctrine.  This SOP standardizes routine procedures for combat operations within the scout platoon and is intended to be used by the Armor Basic Officer Leader Course (ABOLC).

 

Scope of SOP coverage –

 

All platoon personnel should read, understand, and comply with the provisions of this SOP. As a minimum, all vehicle commanders, and squad leaders should maintain a copy of the SOP at all times.

 

 

This book is a "BIG" (8 1/2 inches high by 11 inches wide) size - the size of a regular sheet of paper.

 

The popular "mini" size (half the size of this book) is also on this web site at a reduced price.

 

Coil binding is used to allow for jam free page turning.
