ATP 3-21.10, provides doctrine for the Infantry rifle company of the Infantry battalion. This publication describes relationships, organizational roles and functions, capabilities and limitations, and responsibilities within the Infantry rifle company  This publication supersedes FM 3-21.10.

ATP 3-21.10 addresses the tactical application of techniques associated with the offense, the defense, and operations focused on stability.

The principal audience for ATP 3-21.10 is the commanders, staff, officers, and noncommissioned officers within the Infantry battalion.

ATP 3-21.10 applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard/the Army National Guard of the United States, and the United States Army Reserve unless otherwise stated.
