This is a cartoon magazine made during the Viet Nam war.  Easy to understand and informative.

Here is a reprint of the hard to find original DA Pam 750-30. 30 pages illustrated with color cartoons that cover the operation and field maintenance of the M16A1. This book was issued to almost every soldier in Vietnam, and saved many of their lives. Covers care and use of mags, ammunition, lubrication, everything, in a concise easy to read format. Will Eisner (The Spirit and Godfather of the graphic novel format) returned to work for the US Army in 1951, just a few years after his service during WWII. Eisner illustrated the Army's PS Magazine for the next 21 years, as well as many pamphlets and supplements. These were generally published in a comicbook art format, forever changing the dry and dull face of Army publications.
