This SOP will assist you in the pursuit and strive for excellence.  It contains the standards expected of your uniform, drill, manual arms with the M14 Rifle, and procedures for honoring our deceased Service Members, Retirees and Veterans.  This document describes the tough but realistic standards you must meet in order to become a member of this time honored profession. Honor Guard Members must always hold themselves to a higher standard both on and off duty, in all; performance, conduct and appearance.  The ARNG expects each member to professional, disciplined, fit, well trained, and properly resourced. Each pledge a selfless example and humbled professional leadership.
