Army Techniques Publication (ATP) 3-04.6 describes structure, mission, employment, and sustainment of ATS units supporting major combat, stability, and civil support operations.

This publication focuses on Army Aviation ATS units’ organizational structure, employment, training and readiness, and maintenance. It establishes responsibilities and duties of key personnel and discusses planning considerations required for training, operations, and combat.

The primary audience for ATP 3-04.6 is all members of the profession of arms. Trainers and educators throughout the Army will also use this publication.

This publication applies to Active Army, Army National Guard, United States Army Reserve, and Army civilians.. It assists Army branch schools in teaching ATS and airfield management operations.

This book is a "BIG" (the size of a regular piece of paper) size - Coil binding is used to allow for easy page flipping with no binding.

This website also has this book in "mini" size (half the size of a regular sheet of paper). A popular size to carry anywhere (briefcase, large pocket, purse) but the print is large enough for easy reading.
