Purpose

This training circular (TC) is a tool commanders can use during training strategy development. The products in this TC are developed to support the plan.

Scope

This TC provides guidance for platoon leaders, leaders, and Soldiers, who plan, prepare, execute, and assess training of the reconnaissance troop.

Intended Audience

The primary target audience for this TC is the platoon leader, and other leaders within a reconnaissance platoon. The secondary audience comprises training developers who develop training support materials for professional military education (PME).

Applicability

This publication applies to the Active Army, Army National Guard (ARNG)/Army National Guard of the United States (ARNGUS), and the United States Army Reserve (USAR) unless otherwise stated.

This book is mini size (about 7 inches high and 5 1/2 inches wide) - A popular size to carry anywhere (briefcase, pocket, purse) but the print is large enough for easy reading.  It has coil binding allowing for easy page turning without jamming.

The color covers are laminated for weather protection with black and white inside printing.
