This multi-Service tactics, techniques, and procedures (MTTP) publication for Tactical Radios is a single source, descriptive reference guide to ensure tactical-level operators and planners have a comprehensive resource for planning, employing, creating, and operating radio networks (nets) in a joint Service environment.

This MTTP publication applies to all commanders and their staffs who participate in planning, employing, operating, and maintaining tactical radio nets.

This publication describes tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) for planning, installing, operating, and maintaining tactical radio networks across high frequency (HF), very high frequency (VHF), and ultrahigh frequency (UHF) spectrums. The appendices to this publication contain operational checklists that can be used by tactical radio operators, expeditionary maintainers, or tactical joint planners tasked with integrating tactical radio resources in a joint operational environment.

This book is a "mini" (7 1/4 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide) size - A popular size to carry anywhere (briefcase, large pocket, purse) but the print is large enough for easy reading.  The binding is with coil, allowing easy flipping of pages without jamming.
